left4dead

Left 4 Dead is Valves most recent game and their first foray into zombie action.  It is also the most heavily co-op dependant game i’ve played in quite some time.  The game itself was great when it first came out last year.  However, it did have 1 serious issue.  It was extremely light on content.

CSS is Awesome

There was a time when “programming” HTML was the job of a child:  create a table, add some lorem ipsum, some images with vertical alignment tweaked a little, and (god forbid) an iframe or frame set.  Javascript was cryptic and served the purpose of altering the status bar of your browsers and generally just be annoying.

tea party

Today is tax day and apparently thousands of Americans have decided to use it to protest our egregious taxation system.  How?  Tea parties!  That’s right the tea parties which conservative news outlets would have you believe are grass roots political movements have been going on all day all over the country.  Apparently the best way to protest is to emulate the act that kicked off the revolutionary war…. how wonderful.  I seem to recall being taught in history class that the Boston Tea Party was to protest taxation without representation.  In short that the Americans (who were actually British) believed only their own elected officials could tax them.

killzone 2

Killzone 2 has been out for over a month now, so you might ask yourself, “why review this now?”  The simple answer is that this site didn’t exist back then.  While that’s true, I also wanted to really give the game a lot of time and a thorough play through.  Well, after finishing the game on veteran and achieving max rank in multiplayer i feel confident enough in my assessment of the game.
