Ever notice that when someone comments online they feel the need to preface their comment. For example they might say…. ‘let me just start by saying…. blah blah blah’. Then they will generally talk about how normal they are, or how attractive the opposite sex finds them. It’s the internet equivalent of the racist person talking about how they’re not racist because they have a black friend.
What is the biggest new feature of the iPhone 3GS? That is correct, video recording/editing. Now, on the off chance that anyone out there thinks this is ‘awesome’, realize that this ability already exists in the iPhone. Simply jailbreak your iPhone and you have access to several different video recorders. That’s right people, the ability to shoot video exists in the iPhone already. What a great 2 weeks its been. E3, the launch of the Palm Pre, and WWDC have now come and gone. I can’t say much about the Pre (since i don’t own one), except that it looks awesome, and does a lot of the things i wish my iPhone did. However, i did follow WWDC hoping to glean some new information on the direction of Apple. Here’s what i found out.
Ahhh Apple Computers, they were riding high in the 80s, refused to die in the 90s, then resurfaced in the 2000s with a hip new image, and a product line centered around MP3 players. Ever since the release of the venerable ipod Apple has been consistently gaining in computer market share. My own distaste for their Macintosh line has waned quite a bit since the release of OSX which is a very good operating system. However, recently i’ve noticed something quite troubling about the plucky little computer company from Cuppertino.
