Rest in peace to the King of Pop.  You might ask yourself why did i choose this picture of Michael Jackson for this post? Well, 100 years from now do you really think people are going to talk about the weird plastic surgery, or the child molestation trials?  No, the only thing they’ll be discussing (hopefully) is the music, and rest assured his music will still be around 100 years from now.  This is a musician that has written some of the most memorable songs in pop history (thriller, beat it, or my personal favorites Smooth Criminal, and Billie Jean).

How many people do you think know that Jerry Lee Louis married his 13 year old cousin?  I’m sure a few do.  I’m also sure many more have heard ‘Great Balls of Fire’.  The thing is not everything survives the test of time.  Good music is one of those things that does, and thankfully, celebrity gossip is one of those things that doesn’t.
